Tips for Decorating Your Casino Themed Party
Now that you have the date set for your Las Vegas Casino style party, it’s time to think about the ambience. The location of your party might not be Vegas, but that doesn’t mean it can’t look like a real casino on the strip.
We want to provide you with a few, inexpensive decorating tips to help amp up the energy for a night filled with laughter, good times and hopefully, a bit of luck!
In addition to our slot machines and card game tables, having centerpieces placed on each table will keep your guests in the mood when they’re away from the gambling. After all, Las Vegas is all about “Go big or go home!”
For table centerpieces:
1. Take large cardboard boxes, paint them white and mark each side with black dots to resemble the numbers on a die.
2. Build a card pyramid out of decks of cards.
3. Make chocolate cupcakes with an edible (or not) die on top to decorate the place settings.
4. Use red flowers with spray-painted black ones to adorn the table.
For the room:
1. Use old Red and white Christmas lights to drape around tables/bar.
2. Make ceiling streamers out of card decks or use black and green streamers to intertwine along the ceiling.
3. Take large Elvis cut-outs and place throughout the room.
4. Purchase poker-looking balloons to decorate tables or entryways.
5. Rent a blinking neon Casino sign.
For the food:
1. Make poker chip and card cookies.
2. Make a cake with the famous “Welcome to Vegas Sign” to sit on top or decorate the cake with fake gold coins, chips and dice.
3. You can make or buy dice lollipops as a party favor. See Pinterest page – http://pinterest.com/odawacasino/casino-party-ideas/.
